*****

The Young Pistols (Tracy Smothers & Steve Armstrong) defeated Joe Cazana & Rip Rogers with the Six Shooter (3:20)

  • Jim Ross is fighting a cold and you can hear it in his commentary. That’s the only real change here.

“The Natural” Dustin Rhodes defeated Pat Rose via pinfall with the Bulldog (1:39)

-BUMPER: SuperBrawl, WCW’s next live PPV, coming in May.

Sid Vicious defeated Scott Allen via pinfall with the Power Bomb (1:17)

  • Brian Pillman attacks Vicious after the match, interrupting his EMT shtick. Vicious begs off instead of wrecking Pillman, who stands tall in the ring. PLEASE GIVE ME THIS MATCH I HAVE BEEN SO PATIENT.

-JOINED IN PROGRESS: the closing moments of Brian Pillman vs. Barry Windham from last week’s Main Event. Windham and Arn Anderson beat on Pillman until The Steiner Brothers make the save. Match was a double count-out. Ross says the Pillman/Windham rematch may happen next Sunday on Main Event.

Barry Windham defeated Terry Bronson via pinfall with the Superplex (2:16)

-SEGMENT: Wrestling News Network w/ Gordon Solie. Feud recap between Ron Simmons and the oddball group of Teddy Long/One Man Gang/Kevin Sullivan. I guess Butch Reed didn’t feel like working.

-CLIP: The Freebirds beat Doom to win the World Tag Team Titles (WrestleWar ’91 – 2.24.91)

The Steiner Brothers (Rick & Scott Steiner) defeated The Fabulous Freebirds (Michael “P.S.” Hayes & Jimmy “Jam” Garvin) [c]  when Scott Steiner pinned Garvin with the Frankensteiner to win the WCW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

  • This is presented as being from the 3.10.91 edition of Pro, airing a whole day after what I have as that week’s episode. Airdate must have varied from territory to territory. Schiavone and Zbyszko on commentary.

-JOINED IN PROGRESS: “Beautiful” Bobby Eaton & “The Z-Man” Tom Zenk vs. Terrance Taylor & “Nature Boy” Buddy Landell [w/ Alexandra York] (Main Event – 3.24.91)

“Beautiful” Bobby Eaton defeated “The Nature Boy” Buddy Landell via pinfall with the Alabama Jam (3:41)

  • This is presented as fallout from the Main Event tag team match despite it taking place weeks after this match originally aired. Cool.
  • After the match Terrance Taylor attacks Eaton until Tom Zenk makes the save. Eaton then decks Zenk because reasons. The replay makes it blatant that Eaton barely touched him. Ha.

-Ross and Dangerously close the show, the latter threatening Missy Hyatt as per usual and making a phone call on his BIG OL’ CELL PHONE to his poodle…who has died.
